Author Suzanne Dalton will give a special talk on “Learning to attack cancer or any life-threatening medical event in the process” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Central Lake District Library (7900 Maple St.).
Dalton is the author of “A Year Lost, A Life Gained: Fighting Breast Cancer with Wit, Humor, Friends and a Perky Poodle.” Copies of her book will be available for purchase. A portion of book sale proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Prevention Partners. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Central Lake District Library. To find out more, call 231-544-2517.
