Bellaire, Mancelona split baseball twinbill

BELLAIRE — Bellaire won on a walk-off hit in the first game and Mancelona got revenge in the nightcap as the two rivals split their Ski Valley Conference openers on Monday.

Bellaire took the first contest 11-10 after Connor Niepoth singled in Andrew Dennis with the decisive run. Mancelona won the second game 12-7 to earn the split.

Mancelona led the first game 7-1 after three innings, but Bellaire battled back, then pulled out the game with two runs each in the fifth and sixth innings.
