Eagles come out on top at Dig Pink Tri

BELLAIRE — The Bellaire volleyball team swept both of its matches, and Mancelona won two of three games in a tight match against Kalkaska at the Dig Pink Tri volleyball event on Monday at Bellaire High School.

Teams donned uniforms that included pink and referees blew pink whistles just for the three-team event, proceeds go to the Antrim County High Tea for breast cancer prevention.

“This is always such a great event,” said Bellaire coach Kelli Fischer. “The kids enjoy playing for a cause/cure and it is meaningful to our community.  All of the girls played well together.  It was a very good night of volleyball.”
