Elks see familiar finish in regional final

CADILLAC — The Elk Rapids girls soccer team’s quest for a first regional championship was foiled again in the regional final.

For the second year in a row, and third time in the last seven years, the Elks had their season end one win short of claiming the regional title as North Muskegon scored three second half goals on the way to a 3-0 win over the Elks on Thursday in a Division 4 match.
