BELLAIRE – Residents hoping to find out more – or offer input – about options regarding Antrim County’s Facilities Master Plan are encouraged to attend an upcoming meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at the county administration building in Bellaire.

“I’m hoping at that meeting we can pick a direction and take the next step or steps in this process,” said Board of Commission Chair Ed Boettcher at its regular monthly meeting on Oct. 11.

As part of the Oct. 11 meeting, the board also heard a presentation from Bellaire Village President Dave Schulz regarding that process.

Over the last two months, Schulz – along with representatives from village businesses, the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce, Forest Home and Kearney townships and the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance – drafted their own option for consideration.

That option, dubbed “W-W” or "Win-Win," was first presented and approved by the Bellaire Village Council on Oct. 3.
