MANCELONA — An early 12-0 deficit proved to only be a small hurdle for the Mancelona football team, which could not be stopped over the final three-plus quarters in a 66-42 win over Johannesburg-Lewiston on Friday.
The Ironmen overcame that early hole by scoring three times each in the second and third quarters, then adding two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to win handily.
Adam Ackler ran for 218 yards and three touchdowns, Mason Crandall had 206 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and Justin Ackler had 59 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.
