Two repeats and a newcomer

EAST JORDAN — Kalkaska’s Tyler Guggemos and Mancelona’s Tyler McClure had already been to the cross country state finals. Now they’ve got company with Mancelona’s Alexis Newbould.

All three punched their tickets to the Division 3 state meet when they finished among the top 15 overall finishers for the boys and girls races at Saturday’s regional competition.

McClure, making his third appearance at the state meet, finished sixth in a time of 16:44. Guggemos, earned his second finals berth with a third-place time of 16:20. Newbould is going for the first time after taking 14^th in 20:22.
