Warriors edged by Marion but still earn trip to postseason

MARION — When the Forest Area football team walked off the field after Friday’s 16-14 loss to Marion it thought its season was officially over.

Not so fast.

The Warriors (4-5) get to play at least for another week when they qualified for the 8-man Division 1 playoffs as one of two teams to get into the field with a 4-5 record.
