The Drama of the Cross
Remembering what Good Friday is all about, members of the Mancelona Ministerial Association re-enacted the events of that fateful day last Friday at noon, carrying a heavy wooden cross from Mancelona’s United Methodist Church through town along US 131 to the Church of the Nazarene, where a Good Friday service was conducted by a coalition of several Mancelona area churches. The cross was followed by Antrim County Sheriff Dan Bean (above, orange hat), a drummer from the Mancelona High School Band, worshipers from several churches, and several ministers, including Pastor Ross Corne, (above, dark red shirt) of the Church of the Nazarene.
