Alfred draws attention at summer basketball tournaments

MANCELONA — People from around the region know what Mancelona’s Jayden Alfred can do on the basketball court.

Others from outside northern Michigan are starting to take notice now, too.

Alfred, who will be a junior this season and a third-year letter winner for the Ironmen, has made the most of a busy summer on the hardwood, drawing attention from scouts and college coaches alike with his play at summer tournaments.
