Cookies and gifts for a good cause
KALKASKA — The Friends of the Kalkaska County Library (FOL) announce the return of their annual holiday cookie sale Thursday and Friday, Dec. 16-17.
The sale will be held in the lower level of the Library from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Cookies will be packaged and ready for you to take home to add to your holiday festivities at a price of $5 per dozen.
While you are there buying cookies be sure to check out all 32 baskets on display for the annual gift basket silent auction now through Dec. 22. The themed gift baskets are available for bid in person at the library during business hours or by visiting the Friends of the Kalkaska County Library Facebook page at FriendsoftheKCL.
The baskets are perfect for anyone on your holiday gift giving list — families, cooks, men, women, and children. The themed gift baskets are packed full of great items such as food and drinks, handmade goods, puzzles, games, home decor, toys, books, tools, blankets, gift cards and more. All items in every basket have been donated by local businesses and people to support this fundraiser.
