Dropping a line in Fife Lake could net prizes

FIFE LAKE — Use your tip up to top off your bank account Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Fife Lake Family Ice Fishing Derby.

A total of $1,000 could be yours by pulling the largest fish out of the icy lake waters from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

  Those interested in the event have until 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 to register in person at the Fife Lake Lodging and Party Store, by calling 231-879-3341 or online at: eventcreate.com/e/fifelakeicefishingderby. No registrations will be allowed the day of the event.

  According to Kathy Gwizdala, Fife Lake Lodging and Party Store owner and derby organizer, 212 people are already registered as of Jan. 31.
