Ellsworth claims Northern Lakes softball title

ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth softball team wrapped up the Northern Lakes Conference championship on Monday with a doubleheader sweep over visiting Harbor Light, 15-7 and 14-4.

The Lancers improved to 16-6 overall and are a perfect 12-0 in conference play.

Leading the offense in the first game was Abby Nachazel, who went 4 for 4. She also picked up the pitching win. Sam Miller and Celia Dhillon were both 3 for 4, Gabby Glynn went 2 for 4 and Judy Veldboom had two doubles.
