Explosive Warriors’ offense goes off on Brethren
FIFE LAKE — A Forest Area offense that was expected to be explosive this season did not disappoint right out of the gate.
The Warriors lit up the scoreboard for 64 points — their highest point total in two years — scoring touchdowns on eight of their 11 possessions for an impressive 64-44 victory against Brethren in Friday’s football season opener.
Quarterback Chase Ingersoll was dynamic in leading the Forest Area offense, accounting for eight touchdowns — five rushing and three passing — and 414 yards of total offense.
