Fisher steps in as Ellsworth varsity volleyball coach

ELLSWORTH — It seemed only natural that Amanda Fisher would become Ellsworth’s varsity volleyball coach.
Fisher has been the junior varsity head coach for the past three years and her sister Lindsey, a junior, will be up on the varsity this year. So, when Yvonne Nachazel retired as the Lancers’ head coach following the 2018 season, Fisher was next in line to take over the varsity head coaching duties.
“It was just a natural fit,” said Fisher. “It just kind of fell in my lap.”
