Inconsistent Eagles fall to Rudyard
BELLAIRE — The Bellaire football team is like a car that needs a tune up.
Though they played well in spurts, the Eagles still had trouble firing on all cylinders consistently and suffered a 50-12 loss to Rudyard on Friday to drop to 0-2.
Rudyard quarterback Dylan Mills accounted for four touchdowns, including three through the air, as he guided the Bulldogs attack with precision. Trailing 6-0 in the first quarter, Mills found tight end Matthew Warner for a long touchdown throw that sparked a string of 28 straight points for Rudyard, giving the Bulldogs a 28-6 lead at the half.
