MANCELONA — Scoring runs is the object of the game and the Mancelona baseball team did that in abundance on Monday.

The Ironmen crossed home 30 times in a doubleheader with Bellaire, topping the Eagles 15-5 and 15-4.

Jason Naumcheff and Adam Ackler led the way in the first game, collecting three hits apiece. In the second game Justin Ackler was 3 for 3 with a triple and Jason Kihn went 3 for 4. Other key offensive contributions came from Gavin Robinson, who had five hits between the two games, and Jayden Alfred, who collected a double among two hits, drove in four runs and scored five times.

Trace Miller was the winning pitcher in game one, striking out six. Alfred pitched in relief.
