KPS board approves two-year extension for Starr
KALKASKA — Terry Starr, superintendent at Kalkaska Public Schools since July 2018, will be sticking around for a little while longer.
The KPS Board of Education unanimously approved a two-year contract extension for Starr at its regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 15
Starr had received a three-year contract when he originally was hired as the school district’s top administrator. But, due to an administrative guideline, he could only receive a two-year renewal.
And, Starr requested the renewal at the board’s previous meeting Feb. 15
