Lancers cruise to Northern Lakes Conference cross country title

WOLVERINE — What was already academic became official on Wednesday, Oct. 18 as the Ellsworth boys and girls cross country teams won the Northern Lakes Conference championships at the final league meet of the season.

The Lancers, who won every league meet this season, had perfect scores to wrap up the championship in style.

Isaiah Romeyn and Judith Veldboom were the individual conference champions and led the way for the Lancers. Romeyn ran a time of 18:17, while Veldboom had a 21:41.
