Lancers wrap up Northern Lakes Conference championship

ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth baseball team is still wearing the crown in the Northern Lakes Conference.

The Lancers repeated as conference champions after splitting a doubleheader against Brimley on Wednesday, May 23. The visiting Bays took the first game 5-2, handing Ellsworth its first league loss, but the Lancers responded in the nightcap with a 6-4 victory that clinched the title.
