Vanniman diversifies her game in busy summer with Mystics
CENTRAL LAKE — Basketball season doesn’t begin for three more months, but Finch Vanniman is more than ready for her final year in a high school uniform.
The Central Lake senior just finished her first and only season competing with the Michigan Mystics AAU club, where she played countless games against high-level competition and diversified her game along the way.
“I definitely felt I grew as a player,” said Vanniman, who has started on the hardcourt for Central Lake for the past three years. “I got to play with and against some really good players. It was a really fun challenge.”
