Walk off football win for Ironmen

MANCELONA — Snap. Pass. Catch. Ball game.

That was the sequence of events that led to Oumar Sy’s game-winning touchdown on the final play of the game, giving Mancelona’s football team a 14-8 win over Kalkaska on Homecoming on Friday.

Sy hauled in an 11-yard catch from quarterback Jason Naumcheff as time expired, capping off an exciting end to a dramatic battle between two local rivals.

The victory allowed Mancelona to improve to 5-0 on the season, its best start since 2012.
