Live Well Kalkaska Substance Free Coalition

The Live Well Kalkaska Substance Free Coalition meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Kalkaska High School Library. The next meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 10. All are invited to help in the fight to save lives in and around the community and to promote prevention for children and others.

Community Choir Concert

The Antrim County Community Choir will present its annual holiday concert “Christmas Light” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Bellaire High School Performing Arts Center. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be collected to benefit the Susie Hutchings Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides support for local music students.

Light Up the Night and Soup Cook-Off

Bellaire comes alive for the holiday season in the 10th Annual Light Up the Night and Soup Cook-Off celebration on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Christmas in Atwood

Christmas in Atwood will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by the following locations to participate in a free activity: Work n’ Play Shop, Atwood Hardware, Northern Treasures, Grace Gallery, Royal Farm Market and Friske’s Farm Market.

‘Last Chance Holiday Craft Fair’

Area seniors along with Paddles and Pedals will host a “Last Chance Holiday Craft Fair” on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Area Senior Activity Center, 102 Maple St. in Bellaire. Items for sale will include: handmade crafts, candles, soaps, jewelry and more. A bake sale and gift wrapping will be available via Bellaire Middle School students accepting donations toward their annual trip to Washington D.C.

KMS Breakfast with Santa

Kalkaska Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society students, along with help from donors in the community are hosting the 4th annual free Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9-11 a.m. at the KMS Cafeteria. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage and drinks for the entire family. Crafts will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Children will have the chance to make ornaments, have their face painted, and more.

Christmas in Kalkaska

Thursday, December 5, 2019 - 4:30pm to Saturday, December 7, 2019 - 3:00pm

The Village of Kalkaska will roll out the holiday carpet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-7 for Christmas in Kalkaska. This year’s festivities will kick off with a Holiday Light Tour on Thursday, followed by a lighted parade through downtown on Friday. Breakfast with Santa, a Holiday Craft Show and Christmas Concert, plus additional activities are scheduled for Saturday.
