The Alden Depot Museum will hold its annual Model Train show and Swap meet in Alden on Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will continue on August 22-23 and August 29-30 on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. This show is free of charge and will feature several model train layouts from N-gauge to large Lionel Standard gauge.
The Antrim County Conservative Union is hosting its second annual Fun Shoot/Pig Roast on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 1-4 p.m. featuring special guests U.S. Senate Candidate John James and U.S. Congressman Jack Bergman. This is an outdoor event at the private property of Richard Davis, which is located at 5600 Wicks Way, Central Lake.
