The Bellaire Rotary Club will be having a can and bottle drive on Saturday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 4 Front Credit Union ATM location in Bellaire. Bring your empties to the Rotary Club or they will be more than happy to pick up them by contacting 231-377-2002. All the money raised goes to the Good Works Program.

Holiday Handmade Pop Up Shop

The Warm Fuzzy in Alden will be hosting a Holiday Handmade Pop Up Shop on Saturday, Dec. 5 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured local artists will be on hand for this event. Warm Fuzzy is located at 9046 Helena Road.

 

Music Scholarship Deadline

Applications for the Antrim County Community Choir’s Susie Hutchings Memorial Scholarship are due by Tuesday, Dec. 1. Scholarship money can be used for private lessons, summer camps, and college tuition.

Giant Giveaway

Messiah’s Tree Farm in Bellaire is giving away a giant basket filled with books and toys for children in kindergarten through fifth grade valued at $100. Stop by to register Monday thru Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The drawing for the giveaway will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. at the tree farm. Also, from 2-4:30 p.m.

Light Up The Night

The Bellaire Chamber of Commerce is asking all businesses and residents to light up Bellaire during the month of December. For businesses, decorate your store-front windows for a chance to win a first place chamber membership with additional prizes for second and third place. Displays should be up no later than Dec.
