The Bellaire Ministerial Association is partnering with churches and individuals throughout America for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 5 at 12 p.m. Anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to join in front of the Antrim County Courthouse in Bellaire. There will be refreshments served immediately following at Fresh Start Church.

The Bellaire Conservation Club will be holding kid’s fish day at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The conservation club will provide the bait. Anglers will need to bring their own tackle and no buckets. Catch goes to a monitored cooler. There will be social distancing guidelines along with hand sanitizers.

The Bellaire Middle School Student Senate is hosting a drive-in movie to celebrate Earth Day on Friday, April 22 at 8:30 p.m. at the old ballfield behind the Bellaire Middle/High School. The movie is Croods. Concessions will be provided. This event is a fundraiser to raise money for high-quality benches which will be placed around the outside of the Middle/High School.
After a two year hiatus necessitated by the COVID 19 pandemic, the Bellaire Conservation Club has announced that Kids’ Fish Day at Meadow Brook will be back this year on Saturday, April 30. The event will start at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. The Conservation Club will supply bait but each angler needs to bring their own tackle, but no buckets allowed.
Glacial Hills will be having its spring clean up on Saturday, April 24. Meet at 10 a.m. at Eckhardt Road in Bellaire at the trailhead for an instructional meeting. Bring your personal water bottle, work gloves, hand clippers or loppers. Bring a phone to take pictures and wear appropriate footwear for hiking the trails.
