The class will define the word sacrament and proceed through Old and New Testament passages that support our understanding of what Communion is all about. The Antrim County Sheriff’s Department Victims Services Unit will meet on Monday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Central Lake. The unit provides immediate, on-scene support for any surviving secondary victims of an unexpected death or serious trauma. A two person team of volunteers is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

The Kalkaska County American Legion Post 480 hosts coffee and donuts on the second Wednesday of each month at the Kalkaska County Senior Center from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. On Wednesday, March 8 join the Veterans for a presentation regarding scams, fraud prevention and avoiding identity theft. Guest speakers will include representatives from AARP, Forest Area Federal Credit Union and the Kalkaska County Sheriff’s Office.
