The Alden District Library will have a collection of knives on display starting Friday, Feb. 2 and will run through Thursday, Feb. 28. These knives were custom made in Michigan. This is a free event and is sponsored by the Alden District Library.
There will be Trivia Night on Friday, Feb. 9 at the Banks Township Hall in Ellsworth from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Teams of one to eight people, five categories of 10 question and prizes will be given away.
The Alba Sportsman’s Club is having its monthly meeting on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. and will be held at the Alba Public Library, 3995 2nd St. All are welcome to attend. If you have any questions please contact 616-260-2286.
On Thursday, Feb. 1 the Alden District Library will be having its Potluck and Off the Wall Movie Night. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with the movie at 7 p.m. This is a free event.
Everyone is invited to a free community dinner at the First Presbyterian Church in Elk Rapids on Monday,Jan. 29 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Bring your family, friends and neighbors.
On Saturday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the Carly’s Hill 11th Annual Cardboard Classic Snow Fun Day at the Springfield Park and Recreation Area, 3983 Lund Road, Fife Lake. Check in is from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Antrim County Sheriff’s Department Victims Services Unit will meet on Monday, January 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Central Lake.
The Friends of the Library Monthly Meeting is on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 9:30 a.m. for social time and 10 a.m. for the meeting, The meeting is held at the Helena Township Community Center, 8751 Helena Road. For more information contact 231-331-4318.
