On Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. Local Bardic Storyteller, Jim Libby, will be performing poetic Irish stories from the middle ages to late 1900’s at the Alden District Library, 8751 Helena Road. This is a free event.
State Rep. John Roth, R-Interlochen, will soon host a local office hour in Ellsworth. The meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Banks Township Community Hall, 6520 Center Street in Ellsworth.
The Northern Michigan Brass Band will be performing a concert on Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m. at the Bellaire High School Performing Art Center. General admission is $10 and all students are admitted free.

The Kalkaska Conservation District (KCD) will be conducting another weeknight hike at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 at the AuSable Institute, 7526 Sunset Trail N in Mancelona. Look for “Conservation District Event” signs on Sunset Trail to help guide you to the parking lot.
