Annual chili dinner

The Central Lake Fire & Rescue Auxiliary will hold its annual chili dinner on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 5-7 p.m. at the fire station on M-88 in Central Lake. Several varieties of chili will be available along with cornbread or rolls, dessert and cider. Everything is by donation only and take out is available. All proceeds go to the auxiliary and their mission to support the fire department and educational programs in the community. The dinner last year allowed the auxiliary to purchase a four-gas detector, which has already been used this past year.
