Blood drives scheduled

Several blood drives are scheduled throughout the area. They include:

• Jan. 8, Las Vegas Tan and Salon, 786 S. Cedar Street Kalkaska (in the Family Fare plaza) from 1-6 p.m. All donors will receive a free tan and sample size lotion. 

• Jan. 9: Kalkaska Community Blood Drive hosted at Kalkaska Memorial Hospital from 1-6 p.m.

• Jan. 9: Elk Rapids Community Blood Drive hosted at the Elk Rapids AMVets; 410 Bridge Street from 1-6 p.m.

• Jan. 9: Meadow Brook Medical Facility, 4543 S. M-88, Bellaire from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

• Jan. 9: Forest Area High School, 7741 Shippy Road, Fife Lake from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Jan. 9: Shanty Creek, 5780 Shanty Creek Road, Bellaire from noon-5 p.m.
