Chili Supper & Barn Dance
The public is invited to join the fun at Samels Farm on Saturday, Sept. 16 for a chili supper and barn dance. The Samels Family Heritage Society is hosting the event with chili featuring four chilis including a vegetarian option, cornbread, coleslaw, beverage and desserts beginning at 5 p.m. Dancing begins at 6 p.m. and is led by the band Hammer’D. A dance caller will also provide instruction so all ages are welcome to participate. Individuals are asked for a $5 donation; families $10 at the door.
