Diabetes Workshop

An online diabetes workshop will be conducted by Michigan State University Extension Service with help from the Central Lake Lions Club. Through the Lions Club International Foundation grant, MSU will present via Zoom three, six-week interactive seminars designed to help teach more about and better manage the disease. This is free of charge to all Michigan residents. The first series begins on Thursday, Feb. 18 and will continue with sessions on Feb. 24, March 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. A repeat series called Diabetes PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) will be offered in March and April. Adults of all ages and are Michigan residents who are interested in diabetes, prediabetes and Type 2 should attend.
