Free Tax Preparation

The Antrim County Commission on Aging and the AARP are sponsoring free in-person preparation of Federal and State income tax returns. All returns are electronically filed after being prepared and checked by volunteers who have completed IRS training and testing and are certified. Tax preparation is available at the COA in Bellaire by appointment only from Wednesday, Feb. 19 to Tuesday, April 15. To schedule an appointment, please call the Commission on Aging at 231-533-8703. You will receive written confirmation of the appointment, a list of materials you should bring, and an Intake Sheet you should fill out and bring to the appointment.
