The new group HealingStrong cancer (and other illness) support group will meet at the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month. Special time for the Aug. 15 meeting is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The meeting welcomes anyone interested in regaining dignity and hope in the face of a serious illness.
