Lantern-Lit Evening at Grass River Natural Area

Experience the beauty of winter at Grass River Natural Area during a Lantern-Lit Evening on Friday, Jan. 9, from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. For $5 per person, participants can enjoy a self-guided lantern-lit hike or, weather permitting, an evening ski or snowshoe along the trails and boardwalks. A warm campfire will be available at the Center pavilion, and the heated building will be open and staffed throughout the event. This open-house–style program allows guests to arrive at any time during the two-hour window. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Skis and snowshoes for all ages are available to rent for an additional $5 fee, or guests may bring their own.
