Light Up Mancelona

On Saturday, Dec. 15 Light Up Mancelona will begin with a Pancake Breakfast with Santa at Mancelona High School from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Following the breakfast kids are invited to Antrim Outfitters in downtown Mancelona where Cheer Team volunteers and Santa will be offering more crafting opportunities from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday evening kicks off at 5 p.m. in downtown Triangle Park when Santa arrives by fire truck to assist with the village’s tree lighting before greeting children inside the Silver Screen Salon. Phots will be available with Santa along with a DJ Ed McCarty, free hotdogs, hot chocolate, cookies and treat bags for the kids will be available on Maple Street between State and Ellsworth Farmers Exchange. The festivities will end with the Light Parade starting at 6:30 p.m. at Mancelona Fire Department on Cedar River Road.
