Lioness club to celebrate 40th anniversary

The Central Lake Lioness Club will be celebrating 40 years of service with a special Open House, Sunday, Oct. 8, from 1-3 p.m. The club has chosen its 2017-18 donations and will be giving local recipients their checks at 2 p.m. during the event. All are invited to stop by the Central Lake Governmental Center, 1622 North M-88 Highway and join the celebration. There will be light refreshments and a new leader dog puppy will be on hand along with its trainer.
