Open House & Blazer Bash

Kalkaska Public Schools is having an open house and blazer bash on Thursday, Sept. 1. Come meet your teachers and check out your classroom. Birch Street Elementary is from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Cherry Street Intermediate is from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.; Rapid City Elementary is from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Get your schedule and check out where your classes are from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the middle school and the high school building will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for schedules and to check out where your classes are located. There will also be a freshman BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Afterwards join us for the back to school celebration with the Blazer bash from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kalkaska Middle School. There will be food, bounce houses, carnival style games and welcome community members and families for the new school year. Pay $1 to dunk your principal and also will be a scholastic book fair.
