In an effort to form a more trauma informed community, the Live Well Kalkaska Substance Free Coalition is featuring a free public movie followed by a panel discussion on Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kalkaska Church of Christ, 1725 W. Kalkaska Road. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. This is a one hour documentary that delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement to treat and prevent Toxic Stress.
