Rowell Family Benefit

A sloppy joe dinner, with side dishes and desserts, will be held on Saturday, June 22 at VFW Post 8684, 408 Hyde St. in Kalkaska starting at 4 p.m. ($7 suggested donation). The event will also include a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, with all proceeds going to benefit Jenny Rowell, who has been in critical care since last month at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. For more information or to make a donation, call 231-258-9757.
