Veterans Day luncheon held at Calvary Baptist Church in Kalkaska

The Kalkaska County Commission on Aging (COA) is hosting a Veterans Day luncheon Thursday, Nov. 11. In order to promote social distancing space, this year’s program will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 815 W. Dresden St. (Across from the Kalkaska Middle School gym parking lot.) A program honoring veterans and featuring a flag ceremony begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch. The event is free to veterans. Kalkaska area seniors are also invited to attend but all participants need to RSVP by stopping in to the Kalkaska COA office at 303 S. Coral St. or by calling 231 258-5030 as soon as possible.
