Shop Local Saturday

Following a growing nationwide campaign, the Saturday after Thanksgiving has been designated as “Shop Local” (or Small Business) Saturday. As a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the event encourages residents to patronize smaller brick and mortar businesses in their own neighborhoods. Locally, area villages will highlight the day with special activities and discounts for patrons. To find out more, contact your local chamber of commerce or favorite store.
