Paddle Stewards Invasive Species Training and Paddle Events
Protect the waters you love by joining the MI Paddle Stewards Invasive Species and Training Paddle Events for 2022. Join local conservation professionals in Northwest Michigan to learn how you can contribute to the work while you are out paddling and playing on the water. You can learn how to identify and report invasive species while preventing their spread. Classes will include off-water and on-water instruction. The first class is on Monday, July 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Kalkaska at Log Lake. On Tuesday, July 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grass River. Wednesday, July 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on St. Clair Lake and the last class will be on Friday, August 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Walloon Lake.
