Seed collection event with Kalkaska Conservation District
September 24th is National Public Lands Day! Join us for a morning of native seed collection on public land to celebrate. The collected seed will be cleaned and processed for use in the Kalkaska Seed Library and native plantings throughout Kalkaska. Meet at the KCD Office, 406 S. Cedar Street, Suite A, Kalkaska. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Please wear long pants or leg coverings, close-toed shoes, and sunglasses/hat.
