Motorcycle club opens in Mancelona
10 Pines Ranch is a family-owned motorcycle club. Ten families with different backgrounds, expertise, and plans, came together to purchase 105 acres of heavily wooded land in the fall of 2021 and started planning and clearing the trees, according to a press release. Then, 10 Pines Ranch was sworn in by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and D14 Hare Scramble for their upcoming adventure. 10 Pines Ranch now has a one-mile motocross track, 7.2 miles of single track, enduro section, a mini track, kids play area including a gaga pit, and plenty of space for racers, family, and friends to enjoy the venue’s first event, Sunday. Oct. 2. Spectators are welcome to attend and watch boys, girls and adults ranging in age from 2 to 90, race on the tracks. There are several designated spectator areas to watch the races. Seating is not available, but guests may bring a chair. In addition, a wide variety of vendors, including a food truck, will be on site. 10 Pines Ranch is located at 330 W. Elder Rd. Mancelona. Gates will open to the public Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Race events begin at 9:00 a.m. Admission is $10 per person over age 12; cash only.
