The Friends of Alden District Library monthly meeting and Christmas luncheon is on Thursday, Dec. 19 at the Helena Township Community Center, 8751 Helena Road. Social time starts at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 10 a.m. The Christmas luncheon will be at the Torch Lake Beer Company at 12 p.m. You must RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 17.
