NMC Sedges of Northern Michigan

On Friday, June 20 Grass River Natural Area in partnership with NMC Extended Education will be having a program entitled Sedges of Northern Michigan from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sedges are wonderful plants that are often overlooked because they can be difficult to identify. This field class will walk you through a variety of wetland communities as we learn some of the most common sedges you will likely encounter in Northern Michigan. By the end of the class you will walk away with an identification guide and new found appreciation for these unique plants. You must register at NMC Exxended Education.
