Lantern-lit Evening
Lantern-lit Evening will take place on Friday, Jan. 23, from 6:30–8:30 p.m., with a cost of $5 per person. Lantern light shining through the trees offers a wonderful way to experience the forest in winter. Visitors may enjoy a self-guided lantern-lit hike, or an evening ski or snowshoe on GRNA’s trails and boardwalks if snow conditions allow. A warm campfire will be available at the Center pavilion, and the heated building will be open and staffed. This is a two-hour, self-guided, open-house-style event, so guests may arrive at any time during the program. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp. Skis and snowshoes for all ages are available to rent at the Grass River Center for an additional $5 fee, or participants may bring their own equipment.
