Program explores signs of river otters, other wildlife

Grass River Natural Area will host “Signs of River Otters & Other Elusive Animals” from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 13. Participants will join a naturalist to learn about the natural history of river otters and how to identify signs of the animals, which are considered indicators of water quality. The program also includes a trail walk to look for signs of other elusive wildlife, such as bobcat, mink and black bear. Participants should dress for outdoor conditions. Registration is available through NMC Extended Education.
